Chris is a Director of Big
Thoughts in Food and Drink, with overall responsibility for leading the
successful development of the company.
Chris has over 30 years experience
in Food and Drink marketing and general management with companies including
Mars, HP Bulmer, Allied Domecq, Grand Met and Coca-Cola. He established Big
Thoughts in February 2001, initially based on a Management Buyout of the juice
business of Coca-Cola Great Britain, where he had been Managing Director.
Chris is keen to identify opportunities
for Big Thoughts to grow through the development of its own brands and the
acquisition of established branded businesses with development potential.
In his spare time, Chris is learning to
play the guitar and is active in his local Church.
Barry is a Director of Big Thoughts in Food and Drink Limited, with responsibility for corporate development and legal affairs.
He is a Partner at Bond Dickinson LLP in London, being a qualified Solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in Corporate and Funds transactions. He was previously at Linklaters, Squire Sanders and Olswang.
Barry also worked as an investment banker at UBS in London for a number of years and has experience of corporate deals from a financial as well as a legal point of view.
Sohail is a Director of Big Thoughts
in Food and Drink, with responsibility for finance and administration.
Sohail is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in financial
accounting and corporate finance, primarily from his time at PwC, JP Morgan and
XL Group, where he was a Managing Director in London and then Global Head of
Structured Investment Products in New York City. For the last few years, Sohail
has specialised in advising and assisting start-up and early stage companies on
all aspects of financial management.
He is chair of the audit committee of Carers Trust, a national charity for
home-based carers, having previously been national Vice Chairman of one of its
predecessors, Crossroads Care.
In his spare time, Sohail plays golf and enjoys choral singing and playing the
